At Bi-State Development, we value each and every one of our Team Members and understand that unexpected challenges can arise. The BSD Helping Hand Fund means to offer a helping hand during times of financial hardship. WHAT IS THE BSD HELPING HAND FUND The BSD Helping Hand Fund helps employees or eligible dependents who are experiencing economic hardship and are unable to afford housing, utilities, and other basic living needs because of a natural disaster; life-threatening illness or injury; death or other catastrophic or extreme circumstances beyond the employee’s control. BSD HELPING HAND FUND ELIGIBILITY All Bi-State Development employees who are regularly scheduled active full time (for minimum of 6 months) or part time (for minimum of 6 months) are eligible to apply for the BSD Helping Hand Fund. If the employee has passed away, then a spouse or eligible dependent may apply. An employee can only be approved for assistance once within a 12 month period. HOW TO DONATE TO THE BSD HELPING HAND FUND Donations to the fund can be made year-round! Options to donate include: payroll deductions, credit/debit card, or with PayPal.
